About
Healthcare is changing quickly. Artificial intelligence, data, interoperability, electronic health records and new models of care are reshaping how healthcare is delivered — and how technology companies work with health systems.
Healthtechery explores those changes through ideas, analysis and things worth reading.
What I Read This Week
Every week, I share articles, ideas or developments that have caught my attention, with a particular interest in what they mean for healthcare, technology and the people working at the intersection of the two.
Essays
Longer-form thinking on the ideas, technologies and trends shaping healthcare.
This is where I explore topics I want to understand better — from openEHR and FHIR to AI, interoperability, data and the future of digital health.
Some essays will be technical. Others will be about the wider implications of technology for healthcare and the people who work in it.
Why Healthtechery?
There's plenty of information about healthcare technology. What's harder to find is useful signal amongst the noise.
Healthtechery is my attempt to find it: interesting ideas, emerging technologies, important developments and thoughtful perspectives.
It's also how I learn. Writing about what I read helps me understand it better, and sharing it means I'm learning in public, getting things wrong sometimes, and refining my thinking as I go.
